Manipal Hospital Bangalore has good doctors but the nursing staff here is very bad. They are rude and it seems that they are not here for the job and do the duty as if they are compelled to. I would suggest them to take some other profession for money and not be a nurse as that needs much more patience and discipline, which the staff here lacks.
In spite of regular complaining there is no check on this. My wife is admitted here and she is being given some injection with some other fluid. The nurse never checks ifthe pipe is air free. They had put the injection and there was at least a 1 meter air in the tube which the sister never bothers to pay attention. Only after I saw it and pointed it out it ws changed. If the person attending is not aware of all these simple things in medication then you may land into big hazards as the nurse team is very bad and they hardly pay attention. I had taken their Ultra Delux ward which rent is 6000, just because they say that they give better service for everything according to the room type. The charges also vary depending on the room category.
If you get this service for paying 6000 INR per day, then I think you should go for a general ward as the service expectation won’t be higher and one would be getting the same service even there. My sincere advice to everyone is to see some other hospital and in case you need to be here, you should have an attendant 24hrs who knows about these things so that a check can be there before they do something to your patient.
