Manipal university jaipur is the fifth university of manipal universities. Established in 2011. Being a newly established institution it has developed at a consderable rate.
I took admission in 2015 in manipal university jaipur for B.Tech in civil engineering. Till now what I have seen is very well qualified and passionate teachers. An excellent environvent in terms of infrastructure, management, greenery, cleanliness, environmental management and students quality.
The university and hostel campus are separated by a 4 lane road. However both of them are very close.
One can go to the university campus from hostel in 1-2 minutes.
The universities infrastructure is still in developing stage but what has already been completed is very beautiful and well managed.
Right now 4 buildings are in work.
Dome building which is also called administrative building. Is the heart of the campus.
Two academic blocks and one more block is there for some very important labs which can not be included in academic blocks.
All the departments has there own faculty block. A student can contact any faculty at any time at a condition the faculty is not busy. Faculties are very supportive and clears every doubt when asked.
Manipal university jaipur has a very well equipped and highly maintained lab with quality lab assistants. University allows and encourage its students to do projects and experiments simultaneously with academics, for which labs are always open.
There are many cultural and technical clubs and national / international student’s chapter. Some of them are

Institution of engineering ( India) . Student’s chapters of civil, mechatronics, and electrical engineering

etc.
These clubs play an important role in skill development of interested students by conducting events, seminars, guest lectures, workshops etc.
Manipal university jaipur encourages the students for actively participation in social, technical, cultural , and sports activities by hosting three major fests and many minor fests.
Since it is a newly established university. Placement is not very good. In CSE & IT it can be said that it is satisfactory. But in other branches it is not desirable.
But still manipal is doing much to increase the placement, and day by day it is increasing.
Hostel is known as YOHO i.e. youth hostel.
Separate boys and girls hostel in same campus.
Hostel gas twin and single sharing rooms with centralised AC and attached bathroom.
It has two wardrobes in twin rooms and one in single rooms. They provide all necessities like mattresses, mugs, buckets, table, chair, curtains, etc.
Till 2015 the main gate closing time was 10 o clock but from 2016 it is 8 o clock.
It feels like trapped inside the hostel but if seen from other side hostel premises has all necessaties with stationary shops restaurants, food points, saras parlour etc.
Mess facity is added in hostel. Very hiegenic food properly maintained. But many students doesnt like taste many days
But still can be said as better than mess in otger colleges.
One can take admission if he is not gettingbin to IIT’s, NIT’s and BITS. since it is a very expensive college quality living can be assured.
