Ok, So even I was the victim of all the raving reviews I came across on these portals about Dr. ArchanaAgarwal. Thought there is no harm in a consultation while we are trying to find out one good fertility expert who can guide us through our misery.
The doc met us, immediately wrote a battery of tests that needs to be conducted, some totally irrelevant. When I asked her about the tests, I was mis-informed, these tests are done before IVF by some docs and we had not even discussed IVF. I wanted to know more about my condition and not go for IVF straight away. She told me she will put me on a hormone, again mis-informed about the hormone, its not required in my case. I know all this because even my sister is a gyne.
One of the tests she had recommended was extremely painful and done only under medication but she wanted to do it right away and it was not even required in my case. I just gave some blood-work and ran away from the clinic. Was supposed to return in the evening for scan but I did not. Result - the test reports that I was supposed to get via email did not reach me for 2 days...then I called the reception and told I want the money refunded, even those basic tests were over 4000Rs. Then I got the reports finally and all the figures seem wrong. I am anemic and my blood count is never beyond 8 for last one year and the report says 12.5 . Clear indication that the reports can’t be relied on.
So friends , please do not get misguided from these reviews. This clinic is very shady, doc looks inexperienced and thinks we are fools, tries to make a lot of money by irrelevant and unreliable tests....total Con.
Please avoid this clinic!!!!!
