I was a great internet freak who used to read reviews before purchasing the product.. the same happened and I was thrilled to see map my India advertised everywhere over the internet... I got to know first from cleartrip where I saw the ad and purchased the device. after using the device it was so dumb no direction was showing correct.. by the time GPS signal is caught I used to be at my destination.. the GPS signal activation is very bad... then I was searching for better gps products where I came across satguide.
I called them up; the price was almost the same in fact 600 rs less... I’ve told them that I am already a bad customer of mapmyindia and to my astonishment they have given me a special rebate of 1000 when I told this. I did not expect it... later device was delivered and if I compare the quality its like reebok sports shoe vs ordinary canvas shoe.... I congratulated satGuide and told you will win the customers finally. probably brand recollection would be more for mapmyindia but satguide will have permanent customer base.
I am all excited about their customer support and the way they go an extra step to get the customer satisfaction.
I asked them why they were not writing any reviews on internet... I was surprised to know that there is a separate team in mapmyindia who only are paid to write reviews over the internet... so be careful while choosing the product.
I give mapmyindia rating of 4 and satguide a rating of 7 ... Navigate to the right product first to be correct.. do not end up asking a wrong device for the correct direction.
