This book by Anita jain is for a wide audience though the heading looks innocuous . "marrying anita " if you get turned on by personal accounts of peoples lives be it a travelogue or autobiography then this book is for you.
It is a strikingly honest (too honest ) account of her single life in New York as well as delhi told in first person .If you like reading fiction and get turned on by excellent narrational skills and dreamy life with all its excitement then this book is for you . But the twist is it is all real . ----the book is non-fiction . The author is Harvard educated and a journalist and her narrational skills are exceptional .
This book is a great read in knowing the changing cultural mores of india the westernisation of indian youth experienced first hand by a non resident indian returning to india. Her comparison of dating scene in new york and delhi with its similarities and dissimilarities is a good read .
