Well, This was the album that won Eminem the Grammies and boy did he deserve them or did he deserve them. This album of his more hardcore, more hard-hitting and more cursing than his first album which was slim shady – LP. In case you are wondering what Marshall mathers means, it is the real name of eminem. So why should u buy this album (if you have not bought it already)! Because this album rocks! Then what makes this album so great? The main reasons are
1) The hard-hitting lyrics, which I dig.
2) The rapping by eminem is excellent.
3) The music is perfect rap music, which again I dig.
4) The ‘extra’ rapping by artists like Dr dre, Snoop Dogg, Sticky Fingaz, D-12 etc adds spice and variety to the album.
Then these are some of the songs, which are some of my favorites. It is hard playing favorites though in this album because all the songs are just so good.
1) Kill You - This is the first song in the album, where he warns the other guys and gals not to mess with him, insults his mom. You know, typical Eminem stuff.
2) Who knew - This is the song where he says how he has made it big now and how the other people have reacted to his success and how he has influenced the kids and the teenagers.
3) I’m Back - In this song, Eminem pokes fun at n-sync , Britney , J-lo . puff daddy and the likes. Eminem at his best
4) The real slim shady - This is the song u have probably heard. This is my second best song in the album and it is a complete riot. The lyrics are cool and funny. Take this for a example.

My bum is on your lips,
If I am lucky, u might
Give it a little kiss”
I’ll never get over that!
5) Under the Influence - This song he has sung along with his group d-12
and is about the drugs as the name suggests. His group is pretty good at rapping too.
6) B Please - This is the song which features Dr.Dre , Snoop dogg
and the other rappers along with the eminem. Nothing much here, Just the “brothers” Rapping and boy do they RAP.
7) Stan - This is the latest video of eminem which u can see on Channel V. It is about a deranged fan who really wants to meet eminem and there is also a small perfomance by dido in this song.
All in all these album raises some serious hell and u have just have to listen to it. I have listened to this album so many times that I know all the songs by –heart . The skits in the middle of these album are just to funny. So go out and buy this album.
