On my visits to Goa, I have always visited this restaurant usually in a group as we always had an enjoyable evening there. Sadly I have to say that the earlier standards of food and service had not been matched on my recent visit last month with a few friends. The service was inattentive even when the place was only half full, but worse was that some dishes fell way below what you would expect from any restaurant. Although the starters were fine, in the main courses one pork dish contained exactly 5 small cubes of pork in a bowlful of sauce and similarly a chicken dish.
It’s a shame as it was quite a nice place to visit. I guess if you have to have a VIP room for bollywood stars then you may start to get complacent and ignore your other guests, in the long run to their cost as I have found there are quite a number of similar places in the Benaulim and Colva area that are quite good and less expensive - it doesn’t take a lot of looking. So I can’t recommend this place unless they go back to the old standards.
