Maruti Suzuki India was instrumental in introducing the compact MPV segment in India with Ertiga MPV back in 2012 and through its journey so far, the vehicle has received mild facelifts.
The latest edition does not depict a comprehensive makeover, but it has some refreshing surprise up its sleeve. Externally, the MPV has induced cosmetic touch ups, visible prominently on the front.
A dash of chrome on the outside transforms it from being strictly suave to slightly premium. Side view is mostly the same, except for redesigned alloy rims and electrically-folding outside rear view mirrors.
Rear adorns a chrome band, accentuating the outer appeal. Interiors do not get any styling alterations but offer a handful of new features, such as fresh upholstery, new interior trim colour options, driver-side auto-up function, climate control, keyless entry and Maruti’s SmartPlay infotainment system. Maruti Suzuki, India has added a new range topping variant, Z+, to the Ertiga range, which is available in both petrol and diesel options.
