Brilliant Ad !!!

Advertisements were started with an itention to educate people about the products and entice them to purchase them. Ads have now entered a new dimension as they no longer are the mere fillers between two programmes as they used to be before. Ads now, though still retain the basic purpose of educating other about the product ... also get innovation into them to get people stand u and notice.


I remember the first time I saw this ad - at first I couldnt fathom the yellow thing moving around ... then I realised it was a turban and an immensely cute kid zooming around .. until his father asks him ’’ Oye Chotu kya kar rahe ho’’ and then the punchline ’’Papa petrol khatam hi nahi hota’’.


I particularly like the camera angles and the kid’s antics when he keeps zooming the car around ...brilliant.No use of unneccesary dialogues but when they are spoken they maintain an impact.


This is maruti’s new punchline and this ad looks alarmingly similar to the Servo (I think its servo) ad in which the kid keeps making a noise and his dad makes an action of filling it with servo and then theres no noise.


THis ad is immensely popular and has gone down well with consumers.In this Flesh crazy world where many people beleive that displaying flesh will entice people to remember their product, here comes a clean ad ... which not only makes you smile but drives home the main point which need to be covered... Mileage


Well I guess keeping your review short and sweet is a good habit and though I am coming up with some longer ones and some surprises up my sleeve ... I guess my opinion ends here..
