Maruti Suzuki ARENA S-Presso was launched late in 2019. With S-Presso, the brand has now created a presence in the mini-SUV segment.
S-Presso is a mini SUV and to me, it looks like a fusion of the Vitara Brezza and Ignis. If you noticed, soon after the launch of S-Presso, NEXA Ignis was given a facelift. The front facia has an uncanny resemblance.
The car is powered by a K10B 998cc engine, similar to the one in Alto 800. So that should set the expectation right. It is not a beast on performance but does not let you down either.
On the inside, S-Presso has a centrally mounted instrument cluster, a very first implementation by Maruti Suzuki. It also has the smartplay infotainment system.
From a safety front, it has the standard features like high speed alert, ABS with EBD, dual airbags, engine immobilizer etc. Priced between 3.5 to 5 lacs, Maruti Suzuki ARENA S-Presso does have some great offerings. One must remember that it is a compact SUV and expect things accordingly.
I am currently living in Baner, Pune.
