I have bought a M800 AC in October 2006 from Sikand & Co(Janpath) Delhi. Everywhen knows about M800, its reliable, fuel efficient, easy to drive and cheapest car on road. Space is less, and can be more comfortable. Although the car is running as per expectation, but dealer behaviour leaves a lot to be desired for.
First they have their service station in a very narrow and congested area, but during purchase they promise that during servicing they would pick the car from your home. But when the time for servicing comes they promptly say that they will pick up your vehicle if its 3 km from their showroom(ofcourse they forget to tell you this when you buy the car)
Secondly their showroom people show all the eagerness and pursue you till you buy the car, after that you have to pursue them for Registration papers, extended warranty and other accessories which they promised that they will give u for free but on the day of your purchase its not available.
I hope Maruti Udyog Limited looks into revamping their dealership, else soon people will go to Hyundai or Telco(let them launch their Rs 1 lakh car)
19/03/2007: After writing this article I got a call from Sikand & Co, they were very courteous and enquired abut the car. They readily agreed to pick the car & drop it at my home yesterday(Sunday) after servicing. The car was serviced yesterday satisfactorily. Thanks to Mouthshut, Sikand & Co kept their promise. I hope Sikand & Co keeps this type of service alive, cause its a big help for customers who lead a busy life.
