Do something about your brakes
And secure our lives....
I do not understand why such a great company like Maruti with a great man power cant set this small issue right. Brakes are as important as any other part. In fact they not only control the car, they direct and control your life.
When you guys can give booster brakes for Alto, why not for M 800 yaar ..?
Do something to work it out.
I own a 1996 Model Maruti 800 Non a/c and I drive my comfort in it. But for your stupid brakes. Once Yamraj invited me when my brakes could not stop me. My confidence and skill perhaps saved me when I was finally able to stop scratching over the compound wall of a road side house, or else I was about to send a three year baby to Yamraj , as it appeared suddenly on the midst of a Main Road. I cant even cross 80 with confidence with the freaking break you provide.
Just put in the booster brakes of Alto in 800 too man and make that affordable by raising the price a little. Do not play with lives.

28/04/2012 : You know guys, my elder brother, who owned this car, lost this lovely vehicle in Banglore a year ago and got it back. Then he replaced the engine. The new engine, though air conditioned ( I don’t know the model year), is not as satisfactory and as performing as the 1996 old Non A/c carburetor engine which used to give me 22+ in highways and 19 in Karaikudi Town despite my revving drives..
Still the car is doing satisfactory. Brakes are always issues. Since I am now matured, I don’t feel like complaining about brakes since now I know I should drive carefully after understanding the capacities and performance of the vehicle. I have understood that brakes are good only till 60-70 in highway and 40-50 in City traffic. So I am following that..
