Maruti means Hanuman and so the vehicle is like the lord. Faithful and honest to the owner.
Sanjay gandhi called it poor men dream car and promised to sell them at Rs. 50, 000/- however this never saw the light.
Still maruti remains one of the most prefered cars mainly due to its service and performance. I still have to come across any one not happy with his hanuman. Its is nice small and cozy. It follows government slogan of Hum Do and Humare DO, as if you do not follow the slogan then this is not for you as at any given time not more than 4 person can sit inside the vehicle.
Coming to the cars performance, I consider as VFM. Think of Rs. 2 lacs and you can own the car. Yes compared to Matiz and Santro its bit low end but who buys Maruti is not the status conscious individual but looking at his family need.
I recommend MARUTI to each and everyone of the family of 4 and do not want to have fancy machine but an utility car.
Go INDIA go and have Maruti, its best one can get for the price paid.
