A-star is it a good buy

With so many cars coming in the market it has become really difficult for a buyer to choose which one to buy...I had explored every possible option and got further confused.

You go to one dealer he will educate you for his product in such a way that you feel that this is only the car you need to buy. I went to hyundai Mathura road, Delhi, believe me really good experience..at the first instance you will feel that sales person are very well dressed educated..but when you disuss with them you feel they are just trying to sell their product.

I wanted to buy i10 / santro or even was thinking of buying i20 as was not sure of which one to buy..sales person started pushing i20 first...although he was ok with the features but was hard sell on i20, I dont think he knew what I was actually looking for. Then he briefed me about i10 and aging was tryingto sell 1.2 ltr...went for a test drive slight problem with the reflection on the screen ...may be because of the light color of the dashboard...but interior looks good....gr8 fits and finish...but later on the sales person started to compare the car with Maruti cars - Ritz and Swift.

The moment I asked what about A-star he bounced back saying there is no comparison and then gave a comparison sheet between i10 & A-star with some 20 + points...I am really surprised as to one moment he said we dont compare and the next moment he gave me xerox copy of the comparo sheet....he again confused me....I didnt see santro as it was not at all attractive ..same old design with pathetic changes done recently...

Then went to Maruti...the story repeated same here too....but with some difference....the sales team was not at all neatly dressed...they had info but were least bothered to sell the car....you need to wait at the dealership for some one to come and attend...oh....missed to mention the dealership...it was AAA....the only catch at the deaership is the cars.....the moment you see Swift & A-star you feel like driving them....here too the sales person compared the cars with Hyundai..swift and Ritz with i20 and A-star with i10..I dont know why they need to compare..cant they clearly say what they have in there car and let the customer decide on there own...here it was atleast some rational behind comparison as I think Maruti has better features at the same price of Hyundai... but why to compare...why cant they directly take the customer for a drive..trust me the moment I drove A-star I felt its a good car..u dont need to compare...it took me somuch time for the sales person to give me the test drive. He was least interested in giving the same...but best part the test drive is given by a lady sales person..i feel it impacts ur decision...u r not able to argue much ...

I am now confused...whether to buy A-star , Swift, i10 or i20.....I feel I need to take a test drive of i10 & i20 too...they never offered me the test drive...very bad...even Maruti guys are also not very good..i forced them for a test drive..
