Hey.I bought A-Star Zxi in Jan 09 and just completed 2000 kms. Got to say that its a good choice for single ppl and couples as the car scores on its stylish looks(I luv its paradise blue color and get admiring looks all the time:), ease of driving, comfort and most imp - mileage. It’s giving me a mileage of 15-16 with a/c on in the city which I think is pretty decent. It has a techy feel inside with tacho-pod and crimson lights etc.which give it a cockpit kinda feel.
However, two things where I feel the car could have been better are:
boot space - the boot is too small and it comes with a detachable cover flap that gets dislodged every time you keep anything in it. And then u spend time fixing it.
A/c power- With the a/c on.you can feel the power of the car going dramatically down which I think is not the case with its counterparts like wagonr and santro. You almost feel like you are choking the cute car whenver u have the a/c on.which nowadays is always!
But overall, I think its good value for money.with Maruti-Suzuki I guess you cannot really go wrong
