This is very important car for maruthi. They are facing much compitition in this segment, mostly from hundai i10. Though maruthi has many cars in this segment, still they are releasing in this price slot. Alto, wagon R, Zen Estilo... Are all in this price band.
Exterior of the car: very very good, very posh, , Head lights are very sexy, design is very good.,
Interiors: ok, maruthi didn’t concentrate on these things, its just CNTRL+C, CNTRL+P job from Swift, nothing than that.
Performance: Really awesome, wonderfull pickup, K-Series engine is really a powerful engine.Gear shifting is very very smooth and easy. I have gone upto 100 kmph and felt the car is steady. AC is good. Tyres for this model are tubeless and much broader than swift vdi.
Gear nob is placed in the correct position with leather wraped. But one should compramise on the bootspace, and back passenger legroom, though they have inclined slightly upwards the seats of rear, but it seems it lacks some space. For city riding its ok, but if you want to travel long with back passengers, it would give trouble to them.
Comming to milage, what company is telling is 19 kmpl and showroom guys are telling 14-15 kmpl. So we can expect it aroung 14 kmpl in the city like HYD.

VXI : 425000/-
ZXI : 470000/-
For ZXI Version Maruthi is offering: Air Bags, ABS, security system, keyless entry, Music system with 4 speakers.
VXI : Music Sytem with 2 speakers
LXI: only a* car with out any features.
