I have been using Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 since May 2014.
Alto, from my opinion is a much better overall looking car(along with its K10 sibling) than its successors.the question usually which the nation wants to know, the fuel efficiency. Well I haven’t properly calculated, but with my rough calculations, it ranges from 16 to 18 kmpl for me depending on factors of AC, load being carried, mood of driving, etc. Also not to forget another most important reason, the spare parts and after sales costs. Fortunately, it’s really cheap. So finally! The answer to the BIG question to this SMALL rather SUPER-SMALL car.
Pickup: Good for this segment. With 796cc, pickup is worthy, cannot be compared to 1000cc cars.
Best Features: Cool looks, Good mileage, Very good service options, Affordable price. The best option for a small family based on Fuel economy and space as well as noiseless drive.
Needs to improve: Fog Lamps option is not provided. Bluetooth connectivity in stereo would be appreciated.
Overall Experience: I am satisfied with this car. This is my first car and I felt that it came as a replacement of Maruti 800 as well as A star and old Alto. However, if fog lamps were present, it would have been really better.
