Maruti alto 800 comes in a low range segment cars. This car is very good for city travel as it gives a milage of 20 to 22km per litre and on highways it gives about 23 to 25 km per litre as claimed by the producers. I have experienced some issues with the heater of the vehicle which dosnt work properly, it initially heats up for say 2-3 minutes and then again works as A/C and cooles the interior. Also the issue face is about the horn of the vehicle, you will not be able to operate the horn for say abt 3-5 minutes when u start the vehicle, after that it works properly this may be the new mechanism by the producers as I hav not experienced it in other vehicles. Over all a very good compact and family car if you are seeing for a low budget family car this will be a very good choice.
