Since I had no experience of driving before and this was going to be my first car, I toyed with the idea of buying the cheapest i.e. Maruti 800 but went against it due to two factors-power steering and AC. I bought it from Vasanthi automobiles at Pondicherry.
At a point in time I was so harrassed by the dealer that I even thought of buying a Indica Xeta, but thanks to the extensive reviews in "Mouthshut" that I found out, it wasnt a suitable car for ladies. So I landed with the obvious choice at my budget and experience. And after several complaints to higher authorities Vasanthi autos also came around.
The best thing I like about this car is its great looks in the segment. Its easy to handle and good enough space inside. AC is very effective.
Its supposed to give good mileage but I have yet to see the day, probably also because of my own driving skills. After my second service, car started wobbling and I complained several time, gave to the workshop three times but each time the problem was not solved.(You guessed right! Vasanthi automobiles again!)
BTW, now the wobbling’s gone! thanks to the service in mangalore.
Overall I am quite satisfied with the car’s performance. So people wo are going for their first car and have limited budget should go for this. Its a great deal.
