I dont’ go overboard with things. I am looking for value for money.. coz its my money. hard earned money.
i bought Alto Lxi, coz I needed teh electronic steering, and excellent mileage. When I bought this car, Alto had established a non-stop 3000 or so kms endurance test record ( done by maruti professionals in a round track). I was impressed.
And I wasn’t wrong. I love the feel of this car, its so easy to drive, compared to other cars..and especially so in city like bangalore, where parking space and driving space is really scarce... .Lets go ..Alto. is indeed teh feeling. I did several >500 kms trip and it just runs without any issues. I wish they bring back the 1.1 ltrs VXi, coz with AC on, sometimes the pull is lacking..
Anyone who wants a car for daily use with occasional trips to nearby towns(<250kms), should buy this car.. Any other higher valued sedans with almost double the engine capacity are only good for the initial show. when monthly petrol expense shoots past 4000, it really pinches. With Alto, I never have to worry about the petrol expense a bit, I am certain, its the best bang for my buck, I can get.
