Alto cars are not the best choice!Its performances is worst than marurhi 800!
If we compare maruthi 800 and alto maruthi 800 will leads the race with its performances with regarding to the leg space, cost, which alto doesnt have!
More over alto was very poor in seating comfort! Only 2 can be seated in a best way! The persons in the back seat will be punished!
I request all members to go for wagon-r as that has very great leg space and good ground clearence!
But maruthi reliability was something amazing and resale value was also great!Fuel consumption was great and I got 22kms when I drive my car from cochin to Bangalore to cochin!
The AC settings are too extreme. At 1 its too slow, at 2 its too fast, and heaven forbid anyone who tries putting it at 3. At 3, the blower would probably sound like the centre eye of Katrina would have to people in New Orleans.
The side rear view mirror is diminutive. It basically just a glorified slice of mirror stuck hastily to a car.
The gears tend to crunch a lot, and are nowhere close to the clip type of gears provided by most Hyundai’s. They’re reminiscent of your age old 800.
I wondered why I didn’t notice all this when I was taking a test drive. I should have.
Well, hindsight 20:20.
Anyway, to be completely fair, the good part about the car was its steering. A small car. With power steering. It was honey smooth.
But trust me, buy this car only if you have a budget constraint and/or its your first car. But even then, NOT if you’re of above average size. .
