My budget was close to 3 Lakhs, I have done lots of ground work and tried Santro GL model which is close to 4.1 Lakhs then Maruti Zen Estilo(4 Lakhs) and new Alto K10(LXI-3.78 Lakhs and Vxi close to 4 Lakhs), then spark came to almost 3.7 Lakhs.
Various facts came to my mind like I have a small family Wife and a small kid, some time parents will come to me and can stay max 2-3 months, budget also a big factor, then milage for daily use aprox 25 kms
If I will buy the car then AC and power stearing must, then I figure out a second hand will be a better choice for me . I had been to some Maruti True value shop .The price they quoted almost like a new vehicle.
Then made up my mind for a Alto -LXI with 800 CC engine. Truely I was a big fan of Alto after saleing my Maruti 800. I made my self zero there.
Had been to couple of Maruti show room for a better bargain for the accessories and got a better deal in Pratham Motor, Bangalore and booked the Alto-Lxi.
I made approx 40% as down payment and choosed a Govt sector bank for the funding, Loan process was quite good in SBH and got the car delivered after 8-9 days of booking. Got 15000 cash offer and 2500 as a corporate offer. car came to me at 3.28Laks onroad in Bangalore with 3rd and 4th yr extended warranty.
As every one knows this is a small and family car, having reduced pulling with AC. but beleave me this is a great product I releasised after buying.I read lots of comments and reviews every where same thing mentioned but I feel for a small middle class family this will the product and thats why lots of Indian accepted the fact and Alto saleing heavily in India.
Specifications:
1.800 CC engine with AC and Power stearing
2.New Dash Board with tinted glass(Only for LXI model)
3.New molded head rest seat.
Cons:
1.Vechicle is 800CC and reduce power on AC
2.Leg space is not quite good enough for a 6’ person.
3.Back seat have less leg room
Pro:
1.Office and Family Car
2.Best for city and less for highways
3.Millage is the best, city approx 14-15 km/ highway 19-20 km with average AC
4.Value for money.

2nd review
I mostly completed more than a year with the machine. The experience is quite good . My small family enjoying with this car. We had visited many places close to 200-400 kms.
Vehicle millage improved after 3rd servicing, I am getting 18-19km/ltr in highway and in City 14-15km/ltr.No mazor repairs just normal servicing.
AC is good but in 800CC engine can not expect much. The facilities with this model sufficient for my need.
I am servicing the can near my office . in Suraksha motors seems they are prety good. Did not find any issue as off.
Insurance is with Royal Sundaram and now I renewed for this year. seems it is prety decent and not a pocket eater.
I choosed my Loan Bank as State Bank of Hyderabad and they have part payment option, have done some part payment and planning to close the loan in a year time.
Honestly did not find a burden on the car, as people says white elephant. As year goes by Insurance amount coming down, Planning to preclose the loan without any closure charge. Small and budget car with a small family. Very less maintenance . life going smooth with less parking area.
