Alto Lxi is the ultimate car for city driving.Best part is easy drive, light steering around in small lanes and spaces. Short drives very comfortable.I have gone long drive also, but journey was pleasant. It is very comfortable and reliable. AC is effective, but in summer it fails to cool completely.
But I had a unique problem. While driving in the city suddenly the breaks became loose and the play of break pad became more.The car stopped after pressing the breaks fully. We drove with caution for some distance and were contemplating to go to workshop for immediate repairs. However after certain distance the break became normal and the car stopped with a light touch.
I did report this to the dealer and took the car to service center next day.The mechanic checked every thing about the break assembly and said that there was no fault.Day before yesterday I had the second service due and all the components of break assembly were checked.The service engineers said break was absolutely OK. They were unable to explain why it happened so.
This is a unique problem I have faced.The car is going great. My review is just an eyeopener to my fellow alto owners to know that such a thing has also happened!
