I bought my first car Maruti alto k10 vxi, red color.on 5.8.15. Total onroad cost 4.31 including all( fittings, accessories, RTO, Insurance et all) .I could have bought it earlier but never liked a four wheeler, thought it is cumbersome for narrow streets of my town.But now it was a necessity rather than a luxury as taxi auto fares are so high nowadays. I have never driven any four wheeler in my life.
Got a driver to teach me how to drive . Within a month got a hang of it. I chose this car because it is the best selling car in the world. Not everybody is a fool. trusted the track record and reviews. I have driven 1400 kms. in two months. Now here is my unbiased assessment. Power steering is superb, AC is superb, Engine is smoothest . when I depress the clutch fully down and remove my foot from accelerator and driving at 40 km/hr the car just goes for 250 mts without any power. It is that smooth. Amazing! But suspension is worst of all, over bumpers of indian roads you will feel each bumps in a very nasty way. so drive very slow over bumpers.acceleration is superb, the car simply flies away, extremely flickable. power to weight ratio is superb.67 bhp and 755 kgs .just imagine. But the car wallows if it is turns corner in at even 40 km/hr .
The suspension is horrible. you will feel it when you drive it. could have made a little stronger chassis. front seats are adjustable. Best suited for narrow Indian roads . Beware of potholes and bumpers. They are directly conveyed to your body in most painful way. Mileage as usual .superb. After sales is extraordinary. Never thought it would be that good. Satya Automobiles of Bilaspur(CG), hats off to you. After sales people never say no to any of your problems.always responds with smile and your job is done in a very fast efficient manner. Don’t know whether it is like this here or everywhere else in India. If only Maruti gives this car the suspension of Swift or a better one, it will get more accolades from customers of this car.
