I bought Alto LXI 2months back. This is my first car and I have learnt driving very recently. I went for Alto because I had a limited budget and few cars to choose from.
Could have chosen Indica Zeta but the Alto is more reliable car gives very good mileage and looks better than Indica. Of course Zeta has almost double the power but its also expensive as compared to alto.
After driving for two months I am a happy owner of my car because:
Good Mileage
Smooth and reliable car
Very good after sale’s service from Maruti
What I dint like in this car is that it cries for power when A/C is is switched on. But at around 3 lakhs you cant expect a monster. Without A/C however the car gives impressive performance. Nice Power Steering and powerful A/C.
But recently with all price reductions announced in the budget I suggest go for Alto only if you have a clear an big price difference compared to Indica/ Santro. Its nicer to have more powerful car specially if you are planning to drive on highway and on hill stations.
