I got a alto becuase our old maruti 800 DX 1997(old shape) had served us very well and now it was time 2 retire her.we wanted a small car as we already had a innova and a honda city. we wanted a car for daily drivin in the city only. First I thought of goin in for another 800 but I wanted my family 2 have something bigger and a lil bit more safer. so I choose a m gold color 2003 last alto on 31 dec I was happy with the car it has more space than a maruti and was much nicer to drive the got around 20 km/l with the standard tires and after some time I replace the tires with alloy wheel with a 185/r13 60 tire and then got around 16 or 17 km/l overall the car is good and my car was serived at regular intervals firstly the steerin became harder after 1.5 years and with only 35 thousand km on her. the whole system had to be replace then the rear shocker gave away and then da whole rear suspension had 2 be replaced and now the door handle of the front door have broken for just got them replaced overall the car is only good for around 50 thousand and then it should be got rid of.that wat I am doing and my car was regularly maintianed and a maruti dealer ship I regret the decission of buying a alto and ma 800 was servin me well
