Actually 2 months ago I was searching for a car pricing between 3-4.5 but I found three cars I my range:
Hyundai santro:This car is very good comparing Price , Power, Tall body shape.But the thing I didnt like is its interior looks very odd.Also the car is giving 14-15 km milege with AC in city.On road Price ranges from 3.80-4 For Gls model.Also this car have a good resale value.
Ritz Petrol Lxi:This was an amazing car but I found the price ranges from 4.40.4.50.and it gives mileage around 13-14 in city.So the benefit when compared with Santro xing was only Power.I think diesel was a better deal, but it will not come under my target.
Alto K10 Vxi: Here comes the actual winner .This car should be in No :1 position with 3.38 lakhs (on road May 2011)price.The price was very comfortable to me.998 cc engine was very good.Also awesome mileage(17-18 in city with AC), which we cant find in any one of the hatchback segment.I bought the Vxi model car with basic accessories like mat , Steering wheel cover, Mud flap etc so they gave me Rs 5000 extra cash discount.I did nt get wheel cup, seat cover.Then I bought the items which they didnt gave from outside.I think they all are of better quality than we got it with car.
The main thing I dont like was the height.since I was around 6 feet’s, its little bit difficult to enter , but for driving it is ok...
