First of all I need to tell you all that I am definately not buying any other car for next 10 years. I had booked Metallic Grey Baleno alpha 1.2 petrol on 19th december 2016 and was told that it might take 5-6 months for the delivery. Of course I kept on calling the manager to know the status of the delivery. And luckily on 27th of januray 2017 the manager called me and told that my car has arrived(It would have taken 4-5 months if it were not the top model). Every small feature of this Hatchback is found very useful and has beed designed in such a way that one would fall in love with the looks, performance and the features. The engine sound is quite low and one could easily be confused whether the engine is on or off, without checking the RPM needle. Quite spacious and the interiors look awesome. One could feel that he is driving a premium car. Its mileage could have been better as it is 17.5 in city and 19.5 avg in the highways. but more as compared to its major competitor Hyundai i20 whose average mileage is 14-14.5 even in highways.
Its comfortable sitting inside and driving. The DRL( Day Running Light)with projector headlamp is just awesome which distinguishes the other models of Baleno. A beauty with the beast. The curves on the side of the body, I just love them. A perfect hatchback within 10 lakh. It cost me around 8.5 lakhs. Interior quality is just fine. Lots of interior space, headroom and leg space for the rear seat passenger. I am 6.1 foot and I fit perfectly on the back seat with the front seat fully pulled back. Nexa provides a lot of interior featues . It has a phone charger outlet both at the front and at the back. its interior lights are fine. Lots of features such as guide me to car/ to home has been added which are so cool and helpful. It has a large full touch screen MID(multi information display) with PAN India navigation which works just fine.Voice commands for calling/receiving is also provided. control buttons are provided at the steering which are quite helpful.
The design is quite better than the suzuki’s previous swift. A really large boot space with 336 litres and a full foldable back seats. The windows are pre installed with high quality dark films. AC is quite good. The steering is adjustalbe.
coming to the performane the car is very stable at 120 km/hr. Brakes are quite good . Steering and control could not be much better. One can get the feel of a premium car. Two servicings have been done, 12000+ km gone, still I dont have any issues till now. Nexa service is good. A perfect hatchback with lots of features and a premium feeling. My recommendations would be to buy this one in this range.
