We bought silver colored Baleno Petrol Zeta last December(2016) and we drove 6000 kms, until
now with no problems at all. One thing anyone would like about this car is the interior space and comfort. Zeta variant in petrol or diesel is best as you get almost everything in that model except for touch screen infotainment and led projector head lamps which I think are not necessary and can depend on ones desire. The ride comfort is good if not best in class. The styling of the car isnt contemporary but like all Marutis it has good appeal and mileage which every Indian brags about. What I dont like? Firstly, 16 inch alloys suck on this vehicle(Maruti addressed this issue in August 2016 with suspension setup but still I and my friends dont like it. 15 inch wheels on lower models have better setup) and they make sure entire occupants in car feel even small bump on roads and always throw you around if you dont slow down. From my own experience, I can claim I20 can better handle potholes and speed bumps. Secondly, If you are looking for performance from the engine then this isnt a vehicle for you and you should probably opt for Honda Jazz or any other vehicle. Thirdly, Never drive Baleno above 120-130 kmph.should any unfortunate incident occurs, it would turn fatal as the body isnt strong even though they compensated with 2 airbags, seat belt pre-tensioners and ABS. Maruti claims higher mileage than its competitors only because its entire portfolio weigh less than 950 kgs except for Ertiga & Ciaz which less when compared to its class of vehicles.
