I had heard stories about this car specially who owns them. And was really looking forward to it.
After some follow up with Rohan Motors, Noida one Gentle man came and gave me test drive.
I think it was his bad day or he was overloaded with work. As he brought his MD ’s car which was 2 years old and had some Noise coming from Engine at speed 90. I asked him couple of questions about performance , rate , discount but could not get any satisfactory answers. Also he wanted to push to somebody else from whom he was getting calls and telling that I would be there in 5 minutes.
I could not see the car going to 60 km in 6 - 8 sec which the company boasts about whether it was because of old car or something.
Overall , just an average experience.
Have asked Rohan to give another test drive as I thought why not try with a professional who really wants to sell this car.
Few days back I did a test drive for Scorpio as I was feeling to buy it because it has been some time since I have been driving cars and wanted to shift to SUV. And what I had heard about Scorpio and read , I t looked like to be the ideal option to have buy.
But the Dealer pushed me to a level where I really had to drop the idea.
So shifted back to Cars.
Have checked Honda City and apart of Interiors the car is OK rather than Good.
Fiesta is a real bad choice in terms of how it is been built, pickup & Money.
Optra is a good car with latest technology , until and unless somebody really has a big pocket for maintainence as parts are expensive.
I still need to have actual drive with Baleno VXi. Lets see when it happens. Would update after the test drive.
5th March @006 - Another Try from Rohan Motors Noida
Had another test drive and believe me the car is good at the price we are getting it.
But anybody who wants to buy this car should
1)open up the Bonnet and check at the security level if there is a direct Impact and find out that it does little to provide you anthing. Put a hand on the Bonnet and the guy will tell you not to do so !!:) DO u want to Find out urself Why ?
Here it is ............................
For a car of this cost, there are
1) No air-bags
2) No anti-lock braking systems (ABS) or other high-tech safety equipment.
No option to get any thing custom made. Look at https://euroncap.com and see that the (British) Baleno , I think the same company :) is one of the worst when it comes to crash tests. And everybody hides this fact.
3) Ignore the interiors
4) Looks and styling
What you would love in this car ?
Run at 100 and speed more, the car will just stick itself to the ground and make you feel comfortable wrt stability and steering. The steering is not like feather and also not heavy.
Brakes are very good, Try doing that at 120 and u wud be happy to see the grip and comfort factor.
Noise level has decreased as compared to 3 yrs old car and that is what Maruti boasts about 16 level noise reductions.
Price is catchy for this range of Sedan.
