In our company we purchased three Balenos last year. All three of them have suspension problems at the back. Even when the vehicle is driven on a nice road, at a particular frequency the vehicle is throwing you up and down. You could feel this if you close your eyes and lean your head back on the head rest at the back side of the driver seat. When we complained to Maruti their regional manager came and suggested that we shift to tubeless tyres. After we changed to tubeless tyres also, the suspension problem at the back is not solved. In fact Maruti manager accepted it is a problem with all Balenos and that they have taken this issue with Japanese people. I wonder none of the reviews about Baleno talk about the suspension problem which I think is basically a design fault. No wonder Balenos are not selling much, as they dont seem to have resolved this suspension problem. One other problem Baleno has is that the backside of the backseat gets hot. When you are driving your Car out on a hot day, you could feel the heat at your back, when you sit on the backside of the car inspite of the AC of the car fully kept on. Again this is a design fault which needs to be addressed with more insulation from the inside of Dicky of the car. Maruti has to do something about this quickly to save the Baleno which is a nice car in all other respects.
