Bought this car to travel to my City(Vellore) from Chennai which is around 130 kms’ to avoid tough times travelling in bus & Train especially when you are married:).
Had the below options in mind as my budget was less than 4.25.
Alto K10
Hyundai eon
Though Celerio was not in my radar, wanted to test drive given it offers AMT feature. The moment I started driving, I was astonished by the comfort & guts it has given to me as it is just like one bumper/Toy car. For a beginner, its a blessing to drive AMT’s(at this cost).
Pushed my bar to a great extent & bought this for 5.4 L. Not a car expert as I have noticed just the mileage they promise as one other parameter next to AMT. He’s with me for 5 months now(since Dec 2014), drove just 5500 kms.
Driving comfort is awesome given that I have not drove any Amt before.
Steering gets little tough as the days go when compared to cars like Eon/Datsun Go/Volkswagen.
3 middle sized beings can sit comfortably in rear
Mileage is awesome as I mostly drove in highways - on an avg, it rides for 18-19 kms & within City, it goes down to 16.5 L but am very happy as this is among the best in market so far considering Petrol engines.
Given its K10, not much info is required
When it comes to look, yes it resembles Alto to a great extent form rear but not from the front or side. Ok sort when related to the cost & benefits we get out of it.
Comment - One of the fantastic cars produced by Maruthi which gives the consumers to feel more than what they have expected - refer Kano model - they have surpassed the threshold limit.
Will certainly recommend for all beginners & those who want to ride with comfort.
