The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz concept which was unveiled at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo will soon hit the market as per some reports. Sleek styling and wonderful proportions happens to be the USP of the Ciaz and will look to bolster Maruti’s position as the market leader. Maruti which had earlier made a mistake with the Kizashi has taken steps to prevent such a disaster. They will be launching both Petrol and Diesel variants of the Ciaz together in September.

In terms of design, the Ciaz looks as modern as its biggest rivals, the Hyundai Verna and the large Suzuki logo and a front bumper, the car has an aggressive look. It will surely be a head turner on the roads.
The rear resembles a City with a sporty bumper and is bigger than the SX4 and longer than the Linea. Made especially for China and India, it has an extremely spacious interior and offer good boot space.
Under the hood, the car will have a 1.4 litre petrol engine with a max power of 95PS and max torque of 130 Nm. The Diesel will have a 1.3 litre engine with peak power of 90 PS and max torque of 200 Nm. It will come with both Manual and Automatic options, not sure whether it will get the AMT which was introduced in the Celerio.
The Ciaz will be priced at around 7-10 lakhs and will be launched in September.
