CIAZ diesel(ZDi) is my second CAR after owning Ritz VXi for 5 years. I traded my old car at TRUE VALUE for exchange for new CIAZ. No fussy affair here.
The CAR - SUZUKI needed a competitive product in c segment sedan since SX4 dated quickly. They have one hell of a car in CIAZ now. The styling is contemporary and pleasant. Lot of CHROME does standout and provide elegance. The upper trims have all needed bells and whistles to stand out against competition. You may refer Product spec sheets from their websites.
The Experience - I am a petrolhead for smoother high rev engine. Love that low NVH levels a petrol engine can offer. But I opted for DIESEL SHVS version at last moment due to tempting VFM proposal. The price, Feature set and the quality interiors. I have driven 2500Kms so far on NH4 and SH in Maharashtra. Absolute lovely drive. Getting 22Kmpl average return on highways and 18.5 in CITY traffic. Low NVH engine. But the MRF tyres are not good. Go for good set of aftermarket tyres for noise free ride.
Appreciate the detailing by SUZUKI team to build this CAR to get the real SALES head start. I feel they succeeded in that. The CAR has fantastic looks, Superb interior Quality, Top notch features for the money spent. And Peace of Mind of owning a SUZUKI at least in INDIA due to Service Network and maintenance costs. No other CAR car can offer this.
It is actually a well balanced car for family and daily office commute. Offering a neat package with good looks, quality interiors, space and low Total Cost of Ownership. If you want a sedan with performance intensive drive experience, then look elsewhere until suzuki pushes a homegrown 1.6L engine inside this CAR.
