Have been a fan of Maruti Suzuki ever since I drove my Wagon R. And that was one of the reasons I went for Ertiga VDI. While there are huge talks about this being the MPV of the Year, I am disappointed with the fact that key aerodynamic features are ignored in this vehicle. There is huge Air Noise inside the cabin post speeds of 70 kmph(This has not been fixed even after Maruti Acknowledging its a known issue and replaced the Quarter Glass Lining and after repeated Services). The Engine Vibration is very heavy that it shakes you for a while when you start or stop the car. And this adds to the crackling noise from the dashboard and the occasional noises from the rear of the vehicle.
The service on this vehicle for me has been pathetic(though all these were clearly stated multiple times while giving the vehicle for service) and Maruti Service Center has done no followup on the same and have failed on multiple commitments!
Except for the Mileage and Luggage space(if the third seat is folded - No one who is of average height can use the 3rd row anyways), there has been nothing that has been a value add for this car!
