I bought a second hand esteem only a month back.Previously was driving my dad’s premier 118....Didnt know how good the esteem was until I took it the highways....drove around 950kms in 5 days covering atleast 100kms in a day....the vehicle didn’t give me any problems.
Overtaking was real easy which I used struggle with 118ne....have some queries about the vehicle...Could u help me??
1) I hear some alternative sound wen i am in first gear and reverse....iIt sounds like the engine noise gets increased.it stops off suddenly and becomes normal..I hear the sound even wen I just turn on the ignition.the a/c is off too. Is it normal in all maruti cars??
2) thebrake lights glow even wen the ignition is switched off wen pressed the brake pedal...Is that normal in esteem??
3) the engine gets switched off automatically wen running.this happened to me several times wen in slow moving traffic wen the clutch is engaged and in 1st or 2nd gear...Is it the problem with idling??
