On 6th Oct 06 I have purchased New Esteem VXI. I am using Maruti 800 from last 10 years and it was a good experience.After doing lot of research on internet and reviews on Mouthshut I have finalised two Cars Swift Vxi and Esteem Vxi altoght Swift Zxi comes with ABS, SRS and lot of stuff. I live in ahmedabad where I can drive my car in top gear only on highways.
i travel 10-15 kms a day.and longdrive once a month of about 80kms. Swift is a gr8 car but I was looking for a Sedan in a low budget. I am very satisfied with Maruti’s After sales support so I have choose Esteem VXI which came easily under my budget of 5-6 Lacs. ok lets come to my experience

Pickup is okay but ride is very smooth. AC is powerful. Seating is also comfortable. This is a gr8 car made for india and for indian roads.
I am very happy with After sales service of Maruti, they call me time to time for service, performence & feedback.
will complete 4 hours this year I don’t had a single problem with my lovely esteem I am proud of it although it looks old compare to newbies like honday city ivtec and hyundai vernai still in love with esteem
although it is discontinued. I hope they will re introduce this model cuz name esteem appeals a lot....
