I have been following the ingnis the it was unveiled at the indan auto expo last year. The looks were definitely tantalising and I was getting curious with each of its details coming out, until the time the prices were announced. I believe the maruty ignis price has been kept too high. I was excepting it to fall around the celario or wagonR’s range.
First of all, it isn’t that big in dimensions( almost equivalent to kwid) , feutures are also too basic in starting varients and on top of it, the price starts at 4.59lacks. Why would a sensible person go for this option at this steep price? instead, he will go for the figo or the swift or The mahindra KUV100.
Maruti might succeed in making the ignis a hit, courtesy it vast service network, low maintenance and high fuel efficiency. But overall, as apackage, the new maruty kid falls short. If you’ll ask me whether it’s value for money product? Definitely, not for me
