I have purchased Ritz VXi ABS from Popular automobiles in Dec 2012. Few points to be noted are:
When the vehicle was delivered there were huge scratches in the bonnet, which I could not notice since it was delivered in the evening (due to poor light conditions).
The next day I noticed the scratches and informed the dealer about the same and my vehicle was taken for polishing the next day. When they delivered the vehicle, it was again late in the evening and could not notice the same
Then after discussion, my vehicle was taken for painting, please understand it’s a brand new vehicle. My few days old vehicle was painted! Will I not lose the resale value?
Then my vehicle had problem with the wiper motor. The motor did not work and the technician attended to it and cleared it off. I still have an alto which did not have any of these issues in the last 6 years!
My usage is very less since I use it only on weekends. While driving in the night I observed minute scratches in the windshield, informed popular automobiles about the same and my vehicle was taken for investigation.
Asahi people have examined and gave a report stating that due to poor maintenance, it has happened. My question is when my car while on delivery had so many scratches in the bonnet, why can’t the scratches have developed before delivery on the windshield?
I can always prove that I was given a car that was used before for their internal purposes. Only twice or thrice I have driven the car while it was raining. So many scratches cannot develop so early. My 6 year old alto has still not develop those, so how can a new car develop?
Brakes aren’t working properly, when I apply brakes sometimes it’s hard and my vehicle keeps moving. Tell me if a new car can develop so many problems.
How can a brand new car develop so many problems at the initial stage itself?
