I started learning driving on Jan 2012 and taken driving license in Feb 2012. During my classes I got swift ldi as training vehicle. I just drove that one for two days, from that time I just fond to diesel vehicle. In the month of Mar 2012, I was planning to buy a car to keep on driving touch, I decided to go for second hand car. Since I don’t have patient to wait for good car, finally decided to go for new car. First I taken TATA Vista test drive from AADYA Bangalore. Every thing was fine, apart from the sales guy and other guy who arranges finance. The first person called me for the feed back after two months.
The second one not at all shown any interest to me, just mechanically he responded. I learned driving from maruti driving school, the trainer one who trained me told both swift and ritz are using same platform and engine and only difference is look. Even though Vista is a good car, I want to be a part with Maruti suzuki. So immediately visited Maruti - Pratham, Bangalore booked RITZ VDI(swift - I rolled out because I dont want to wait for such long time). I was 100% satisfied with Pratham, from day one to till now with all their response.
I taken delivery, on 22nd Mar 2012, from pratham they given Keyless entry kit as compliment. Till now in five months from the date I have purchased I drove up to 9600+ Kms. I just blindly bought this car only from the reviews and word of mouth. And my choice went right and my RITZ didn’t let me down at any point for selecting it. Really proud for my selection.
I tested this car under different circumstances for Mileage:
1) If you drive under 80 Km/hr even with five members(with out AC) for sure it will give more that 21+
2) If you drive in 100 - 110 Km/hr with AC with four members definitely it will give 18 - 19 Km/Litre.( I tested once for 400 Km)
Finally I could conclude that, any one love to drive and travel more can blindly go for RITZ VDI. I can assure for your satisfaction.
Pros:
1) Looking like a sedan( I feel like little innova)
2) Good mileage(sure 25+ if speed maintained below 70 Km/hr)
3) Good stability.
4) Unique in design.Pride to ride.
5) Quite comfortable in 110 - 130 speed.(Recommended with driver+ co-driver, if tried with single person not feeling pleasant).
6) Good ground Clearance
7) Good car for those who are 5 and 1/2 feet.
8) Become rocket after crosses 2000 rpm.
9) Even when AC on, easily it will good pick-up and no problem in overtaking.
10) Value for money.
Cons:
1) Little improvement would have made in Gear shifting for smooth buttery shift.
2) Distraction in vision through A-pillar while taking right turn.(Some times).
