I purchased Ritx LXi in June 2010. and here goes my5 day experience....
I purchased it on June 2010 from Gurgaon. I had driven it around 300 Km in5 days [with max speed 110 km/h]and getting a mileage of 9-10 with AC in Delhi Road conditions(on ’not’ so crowded area like full jam-packed roads). I had to choose between swift and Ritz, where swift was my first preference. But on the day of buying, swift was sold off, because of my verbal commitment to dealer. So had to buy Ritz.
I didn’t like VXi model because the RPM meter on the dashboard looks odd to me and could affect your concentration on road if you see at it.
Its really a quiet car. I cannot hear engine running while sitting inside too. The pick up is great and zooms to 100 km/h in no time.
The leg space is good.
Roof is tall enough to accommodate 6’5" guys.
Handling is superb and never becomes heavy after 100 km/h unlike my Santro which feels heavy after 90km/h
60:40 rear split seats are great and always better that 100% foldable seats.
Boot space could have been better but cant help due to its design.
Dealer told me that I shall be getting good mileage (~16) after second service. [Maruti claims 17.7]
AC is superb.
I bought original kenwood audio system with 4 speakers + USB (not in ZXi too) from the dealer showroom only and its great and can beat the best audio systems in town.
I will update my experience of Ritz may be after 3-4 months
