Two months ago, we almost finalized logan as our car. But on the way to showroom, we heard about Ritz launch and thought of having a look at it. After taking the test drive, I had to change my decision.
I bought Ritz VXI (fire brick red)from kozhikode showroom (26th June 2009).I booked it one month ago, and got it exactly after one month as they promised.
The color is very good, even though it looks weird in their brochure. The price details were as follows.ex showroom price - 4.3 lakhs. The dealer was not giving any goodies. So I had to buy things like mud flap, carpet, body cover, music player, etc.
All together, including registration, it cost me around 4.9 lakhs. So far we have driven around 1400 kms. We are getting mileage of around 18-20 kms/litre (normal petrol). From driving point of view, the car is excellent. very good control.
Pros:
The waterfall model on which the gear lever is fitted is very nice.
Good mileage
Ample leg space at front and back.
The A/C is also very good even at the lowest fan speed. You dont feel any difference in pick up when you switch it on or off.
Cons:
The immediate front view is very limited.(I cant see what is there in 2-3 meters)
VXI does not come with height adjustment
The music player comes with ZXI does not support USB sticks.
The exhaust has some foul smell sometimes. (similar to hydrogen sulphide)
The fuel gauge design is very primitive. Even though the car is having a digital meter, its not showing the exact amount of fuel present.
