This is my second review on RItz . My Brick red Ritz zxi just finished approx 12000 Kms & her 3rd service. I must mention here that this is one of the best cars on the road today in its category in terms of mileage , releability & offcourse Maruthi’s service.
Ritz with its K seris engine is extremely powerfull ~ probably the engine is too powerfull for this size of the car. I have experianced it in long drives , express highways & ghats . It can compete with any bigger cars in this regards. I have even driven it once without stopping for almost 500 kms fully loaded with 5 passengers & boot filled up with bags - its performs perfectly.
I guess Suzuki has put in lot of advanced technology in the car specially in its engine which is extremely quiet yet powerfull. WIth windows rolled up you sometimes cant even hear any sound of the engine. Same is its ABS , it works quite well specially at higher speeds. There are 2things whichare dissapointing for me , one , they could have worked on the interiors in a better way. It is not bad but could have been better specially on the plastics,
The inside space is good enough even for taller people like me who is above 6 ft. & 5 people can comfortably sit . Second at a higher speed around 100 + somehow a little bit of smell of burning petrol seeps inside the car even though windows are rolled up & AC is on. I dont know whether this is a problem with my car or it is general. Mileage within city is around 15 with A/C - cant help much in bumper to baumper traffic in Mumbai. On Highways around 18 with A/C.
