Best buy in its class

Before zeroing in on Maruti Ritz,  I had test driven of Chevy Beat, Ford Figo, Hyundai i10 and Maruti A-star.

I found Chevy Beat to have a powerful engine and pickup, good looks, solid build and comfortable ride.  It lacked boot space,  and extensive service network. I found the engine noisy at higher rpms.

Ford Figo had good ride, specious interiors and ride quality.  But I felt that the engine did not have enough power as compared to other cars in the segment.

Hyundai i10 had good design, comfortable seating but here too I felt that the engine lacked enough power.  Another disadvantage was that the beige dashboard reflected on the front glass and hampered visibility especially when the sun was above.

I found A-star also to be a good car but it fell into a lower segment and was no comparison with Ritz.

When I drove Ritz, I instantly liked it.  Maybe I was biased towards it as I was owning another wonderful car at that time - Maruti Zen (Old).  I found the Ritz engine powerful and quite, ride most comfortable and interiors spacious as compared to all other cars.  The car handled very well on the first ride itself.  My friend who was sitting in the back seat during the test drive also wholeheartedly approved it as he found the seating comfortable with adequate leg space.

After these test drives, I had no hesitation to go ahead and book Maruti Ritz.  I got the delivery in about 2 months and am now a proud owner of one, a decision which I would never regret.
