This would be my first review here. I purchased a Ritz VDI(ABS) from Chowgule Industries in Goa. I had the I20, Fiat Punto, and Swift in my mind. I20 was out due to budget restrictions. Talking about Fiat Punto : I have noticed a weired vibration in the engine, even when idleing (This was for their test drive vehicle) added to it the cabin was not fully sound and vibration insulated, so Punto was out. By this time I have made up my mind for Swift.. (Even I knew it was too common on the roads)
When I had gone to see swift I was introduced to Ritz. Atfirst I did not like the back of Ritz (Its like a well designed car and they just slashed the back :( ) I liked to performance. It had exceeded my expectations. I fell in love with that car that I ended up buying it.
However theres a rattleing noise on the right and the left coloum. Upon contacting Maruti the adviser said that such rattleing sound is common in Maruti vehicles(This is my first Maruti vehicle). So I would really not know. Appart from this Rattleing sound its a good buy.
Fuel consumption: I get about 18kmpl with AC on.
Drive : When you drive this vehicle, you feel like you are driving a SUV or something.
