If unconventional rear is ok for you, go for it!

Purchased my first car -Ritz VXI (Blue Blaze color) - 4 months back and have driven 2200 kms till now.

Done one long drive from Chennai to Yercaud and a couple of times to kanchipuram. Max speed I have tried was 120 km/hr and car was very stable and didn’t look like I was going in 120.

Interiors/Exteriors

The view from the driver’s seat is too good, can compare it to any other higher segment cars. The height is wonderful (am 6 feet) and found that sitting in many similar small cars a little too difficult.

3 people can sit comfortably, but it’s a little tougher if its goana be a long drive. Come-on after all it’s a small car so won’t expect more.

I like the black interiors (Personally, I don’t like the beige interiors - that’s one of the reasons why I ruled out i10) and the exteriors are good too. I know most people don’t like the rear, but for me it’s simply refreshing.

The car has loads of utility space; a small tray below the co-drivers seat is very thoughtful. The one on dashboard and other common spaces, bottle holders on either sides of the front door are very useful.

The AC is decent and I have put on Black semi-leather seat covers which looks stunning. The front and rear fog lights were useful on our drive to Yercaud. Boot space is ok.

Mileage seems to be “around” 15 kpl in highways with AC on for most part of the travel. Will check the mileage carefully on my next long drive to coorg (around 600kms one way) and update this space.

Music system - Have installed a Kenwood music system with USB and AUX and 2 Sony component speakers in the front and 2 JVC on the doors. They seemed very adequate.

Finally, If you are ok with the unconventional rear, go for it!
