This is my first blog on this site and I was thinking about doing it since long. I did some R&D on some small segment cars like Figo, i10 etc and decided to do some on the net. I encountered mouthsut and reviewed comments on it from the likes of me and no doubt it helped me a lot in forming a decision.
Last year in Nov, I purchased a Ritz lxi model after doing all round RnD. I can say after driving this beast around 15 thousand KM, I did a right thing.
Positives:
Noiseless cabin: it’s almost noiseless cabin. Whenever I wrapped up the window it was the sound of noiselessness in the cabin which disturbed me. Awesome guys. Humming of cool music from the Alpine stereo, in the silence of that cabin, is priceless.
Space inside: person sitting on the side seat looks pretty distanced. No touching all during shifting of gears.
Enough leg space for a person even if of 6 feet tall. Though I am just 5’7’’. Backseat sufficient to sit three people, if needed.
Boot space is sufficiently adequate for my family of we two and our two. We bring in household items in bulk sometime from our home town with big toys sitting backside along with our clothes bags.
Mileage: Every one of us is really interested to listen on this topic. Here on this front it does not let you down. It is giving me 15+ without AC (in winter) and 14+ with AC. On highways it has given me 17+, not bragging at all.
Ground clearance: awesome. Maruti understand this requirement in India. You know in colonies and house owners around the corners of roads, creates their speed breakers to satisfy their whim and fancies and love to see cars bodies touching at them. Here I can say my car cannot touch those, Body sufficiently placed on the chassis above the ground.
Power: it zoom passes on the road whenever I desire. Sometime, I crossed the limit of 125KM on the highways (four lane Meerut bypass) and it rocks. You will have to look at the speedometers at which I am driving. Cool. at the speed of 125 KM/hr no vibration at all.
Shifting of gears: you know its waterfall consol, it gives you power, just six inch roughly thing in your hand (hey dont laugh, , , it is mine thing), gives cool comfort in gear shifting. But let me be fair here. it lacks in shifting performance with its close comptitor, Hundai. I drove i20, shifting was so creamy that it pinches here. but just to a certain level, managable.
Overall I am a happy owner of this beast.!!! and proud of it.
Negatives:
Just one thing. Look from the back. But I know it does not matter much to me. Once I am placed inside I feel certain power from this mini beast in my hand.
Friends, pls let me know anyother thing on which I missed to comment!!
