The maruti Suzuki s-cross is another car based on the model sx4 which is really old kind of. It was launched mid of 2017. A 1.3 litre vvt engine is what powers the s-cross. Now coming to the review part:
Design: The car looks good and solid from afar and is kind of unique in a way.
Performance: the car shows a bit of lag while acceleration. There is a bit of jerkiness while idle. The ride quality doesnt feel top class compared to the others. The suspension feel a bit stiff thus the jerky drive.
Features: well the most unique feature of the car is that it is a hybrid which Maruti Suzuki calls SHVS but it isnt the hybrid car hybrid its just a mild hybrid like when your car is idle and stuff it stores energy by giving it back to the motor from generator and stuff. The 6 inch screen for infotainment has a bit of laggy user interface. The sound quality of the car isnt upto the mark.
Overall: The car looks good and has some unique features you can show off but as the coin has two sides this car has a good number of cons compared to pros and one of the main cons are its pricing. In the close to 9 lakh price range there are cars offering good features and better ride quality too. Buying this car according to me will not regret you alot but for the price there are a lot of compromises.
Hope I helped you out thank you
