Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire

I booked the DZire in month of April (8-April) with authorized maruti dealer in Bangalore. Earlier I was told by my dealer that it would take him three months to deliver the car. Now he is saying that he would take another three months to deliver the car. I have booked Vxi model so my dealer is telling that he would take minimum by Oct-08 to deliver the vehicle which is ridiculously long wait.


Whenever a company launches a product it must first make some surverys to the market predicting demand. I can understand if it goes here or there by a margin of 30-50%. But in case of maruti I dont know what prompted them to launch Dzire when they cant fulfil the demand of Swift diesel itself. The day they launched Dzire Swift diesel had a waiting period of 4 months!!! So now  I dont understand why did they launch second version of same car when first itself is selling good.


To add insult to injury I called any time maruti (1800-1800-180) and one guy Priyank picked up the phone. He was pretty rude in talking to me and he behaved as if his company is giving a free car to me and told me that he cant help me in any ways!!


Such for the name of Maruti! Seriously thinking of ending relationship (which was just to begin) with Maruti.


I think days of Maruti being good to its customer are gone with Jagish Khattar!
