I got my Swift Dzire VDi on March 2011 after a waiting period of 3 months. It costed around Rs 7.5 lakhs. From day one the car has been the love of my life. The mileage is around 20 km/l in city conditions and 22 km/l in long drives. The EPS is excellent for maneuvering the vehicle. The pick up is excellent even with the AC on. The AC is excellent. The boot space is really big. The only disappointment is the factory fitted mp3 player which lacks the USB port which is a must in today’s requirement.
On my first servicing I switched to Shell Helix Engine Oil though the cost of the engine oil was Rs 2000 for 2 liters but since then the engine sound has reduced further giving the feeling of a petrol car. The mileage has also increased by 1 to 2 km/l.
I can frankly say it is our new family member. I just love it.
